1 # Outlook – Work Effectively With Emails

We recommend using the Outlook application to manage mail. There, emails can be divided according to subjects, projects, topics, or other criteria. You can also sort and filter emails or add and group contacts. In addition, it is possible to use the calendar that is part of Outlook - both to organize your own time and meetings with colleagues.

Outlook is available through a web interface and as a desktop and mobile application, so you can access your mail whenever you want.

Tip 2 # Make the Full Use of the Office 365 Package

The classic package of WordPowerPoint, and Excel office applications creates the core of Office 365. They are free of charge to MU employees and can be used both via the web interface and in desktop and mobile applications. Thanks to cloud storage, documents are available from anywhere, and prepared materials (not just PowerPoint presentations) can easily be used during online lessons in MS Teams and shared with your students. In addition, PowerPoint allows you to record a voice directly to the presentation - this can be useful if you want to share a pre-recorded lecture with students.

You can use MS Teams in many situations, as we have all already tried during the pandemic measures at the university. It allows you to plan and organize online lectures, but also to communicate with students and colleagues throughout the semester. In addition, the application is available at any time via the web, a computer, or a mobile phone or tablet.

Tip 4 # Save and Share Quickly and Easily

Store and share your files with OneDrive, which provides up to 1 TB of storage space. You can easily upload files and manage their versions. You can edit Word, Excel, or PowerPoint documents online and set whether you want to share your data with someone. All this works through the web interface as well as the desktop and mobile applications.
