Instructions: Follow people and topics

Following people and topics is an easy way to stay on top of current events at the university. You can follow the MU rector or the deans of the individual faculties, the MU spokeswoman, or the posts of the staff of the Public Relations and Marketing Office and the Press Office to make sure you do not miss anything.

Following people

When you follow someone in Yammer, you can see their posts in your feed. To find the people you would like to follow, click on the gear icon on the top left side of the screen and select People.

Use the People Directory to find the person you would like to follow and click on + Follow.

Once you have started following other people and joined one or more groups, you can find all the important information in your feed on the Yammer homepage by clicking on the Following tab. 

Following topics

Similar to following people, Yammer also allows you to follow topics. This is a good way to keep in touch with topics that you are interested in, regardless of the groups they are discussed in. Topics are a way to organise Yammer content.

To select the topics you would like to follow, click on the gear icon on the top left side of the screen and select Apps. Under My Apps, select Topics. Please note that the topics are in Czech. 

You can then choose the topics that you would like to see in your feed.
