ARTS Professional Streaming
This service is provided by the Faculty of Arts MUNI.
For events related to education and research at the Masaryk University, you can use professional streaming, which enables recording the event and broadcasting it online in real time.
For example, you can record lectures by guest experts, keynote speeches at conferences, interviews with celebrities or outputs from the teaching and research.
The exception is normal teaching. If you are interested in streaming regular lectures, we recommend booking a classroom with the possibility of automatic recording. Professional streaming is not available for normal teaching due to capacity reasons.
Facebook and YouTube are primarily used as the platforms for streaming.
Conditions for providing the services
The service is provided primarily to the employees of the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, or those who represent them.
The possibility of professional streaming applies only to events directly related to education and/or research, performed by the employee in the framework of their job at the Faculty of Arts MUNI.
The request for streaming should be submitted at least one week in advance via the form - the form includes the list of details, which we need to get prepared for the first meeting. After submitting your request, please, wait for the confirmation e-mail from the video studio staff. They will confirm their availability and ask for more information, if necessary.
GDPR-related requirements should be addressed by the person who orders the service.
The video studio may refuse streaming the event for capacity reasons.
If the event does not take place or stream cannot be provided for reasons on your side, please inform the video studio as soon as possible.
If the event is to take place in a room which enables automatic recording or automatic live streaming, please, consider whether such output may be sufficient for your purposes. If so, please, book such a classroom.
