Our services
We offer assistance to teachers at the Faculty of Arts in the following areas:
E-learning (ELF)
Do you need electronic support for your teaching? We run a faculty installation of the globally used Moodle LMS, in which you can set up your online courses.
Security at exams
Do you want to use electronic testing? We will advise you on how to secure tests in ELF and show you how to use special test accounts in computer classrooms to reduce the chance of cheating. We will also provide you with technical assistance directly in the classroom.
Mobile technology support
Do you want to enrich you classes with mobile technology? We will be happy to let you use up to thirty iPads with the apps you need for your classes. If you like, we will show you how to use the iPads or train a student assistant to help you operate your device.
Video conferencing
Are you planning a video conference or need to make a remote online lecture? We will help you choose the right tool, lend you the devices you need and help you set them up.
Storing and sharing AV recordings
Use the Medial faculty media library to store your videos online, share them, or easily upload them to e-courses in the ELF. You can also find your recordings from the classrooms here or using the TS relay application.
Automated recordings from classrooms
In most faculty classrooms, you can make a video recording of your lectures yourself. If you want, we will show you how to do it and help you prepare microphones to make sure your recording is as good as possible.
Streaming from classrooms
Would you like to broadcast your lecture live on the internet? We will show you how to set up streaming directly in the classroom or set your stream to a specific time.
Assistance in classrooms
Do you want to use automated recordings, an interpreter booth or other technical solutions available at the Faculty of Arts, but do not know how? We will be happy to help you and show you what you need right on the spot.
