Logging into a PC in a classroom
You can log into a computer in a classroom using the personal university ID (UČO) and the secondary password in the Information System of Masaryk University.
I'm having trouble logging in
If you can't log in, make sure that:
- CapsLock is not active,
- your keyboard is set in the right language,
- you have set a secondary password in the IS,
- you have correctly selected the domain (in the form \\UCN\UČO),
- you are in an active employment relationship with the university (employment contract, agreement to complete a job, or agreement to perform work). Employees are given an access to teacher computers within two working days of entering the contract or agreement into the personnel system.
External staff logging into a PC in a classroom
If an external staff member who does not have a labour-law relationship with the faculty / university, needs access to a computer (and it is not possible or purposeful to establish such a relationship), the head or secretary of the host institute of SCI MU can request a temporary user account to be created that will authorise the staff member to access classroom computers (or wireless network and other services) for a limited period of time.
Access to classrooms
Teachers handle the access during the lessons. If you need access outside the classroom, contact OICT or your local administrator.
Equipment and software in classrooms
All classrooms at SCI MU are equipped with multimedia technology – computer, overhead projector, screen and sound system. The classrooms are equipped with a VGA input for projection from own device. The Z1 classroom also has air conditioning.
Each classroom is equipped with pre-installed software.
Booking of classrooms and meeting rooms
Use the contact form to book classrooms and meeting rooms for employees.
Examination regime
Each teacher sets their own examination regime in classrooms. University examination regimes are available in study rooms.
The service is provided and operated by the Office for Information and Communication Technologies of the Faculty of Science (OICT SCI).
