How to Use AI to Support Learning in Microsoft 365?

Artificial intelligence is experiencing a big boom in every conceivable industry, so it is important to ensure access to this technology and its tools for teachers as well. Microsoft 365 applications use artificial intelligence to a large extent, enabling teachers to not only create engaging, innovative, and inclusive learning environments, but also contribute to an overall better understanding of the role of artificial intelligence in the creative process.

Beware of Phishing Scams

Once again, there has been a wave of fraudulent emails to faculty emails. Always keep an eye on who the email is from, check for typos in the email address, and under no circumstances click on the link or open attachments. Please forward all suspicious emails to the MU Cybersecurity Team at csirt@muni.cz.

The Cybersecurity Team of Masaryk University found a higher threat of phishing attacks, which aim to trick and manipulate users into behaving as the attacker demands. Therefore, we urge all Masaryk University users to be vigilant and cautious.

To create an automatic reply in your absence, you can now use the app to help you set it up. You can also create an official email signature in the app without having to fill out the signature.

Autumn News in Microsoft 365

The team managing Microsoft 365 has prepared several new features for you for better security and easier management of teams. Notifications for new email senders will be added to Outlook, increasing protection against phishing. Automatic management of members in Teams will make team management much easier. And class-type teams in Teams from the fall 2020 semester will also be deleted, so we recommend that you take care of transferring and backing up your data.
