Warning: weaponized open-source tools

We would like to draw your attention to increasingly frequent attacks using the weaponization of open-source tools, which target a wide range of organizations from the media, through defense and aerospace, to the IT services industries. The attacks are carried out using social engineering. Thanks to this, the attackers lure job seekers with fraudulent job offers. An ISO file infected with Trojan malware is subsequently sent to the applicants who respond to such an offer.

Outage of Part of the University Infrastructure

On Thursday, October 20, after 2 p.m., there were technical problems that caused outage of part of the infrastructure. As a result, several IT services were decommissioned. The issues have been resolved and affected IT services should now be available again. We apologize for the complications caused.

Change of login to the PC in the meeting rooms (Kotlářská)

During the week of October 17, 2022, the computers in the lower and upper meeting rooms at the Dean's Office on Kotlářská will be maintained. The maintenance will not affect in any way the operation and already confirmed reservations. After the equipment maintenance has been carried out, the login will be changed to UČO and Secondary password.

Planned Outage of IT Services

The smooth running of the academic year is also ensured by reliable and secure IT services, which must undergo necessary technical maintenance once in a while. For this reason, some IT services are scheduled to be out of order from 5pm on Friday, 21st October until midnight on Sunday, 23rd October. Some IT services will be either completely unavailable or its usage will be limited during this period.
