Information System Overview
There are fourteen major university-wide internal information systems that facilitate the university’s operational and developmental work and that of its divisions.
The structure of the university’s key information systems and their interconnections are depicted in this schema; their characteristics are briefly summarized in the first table below (Information Systems and Areas Covered). These systems are being developed in part by the university and in part by contractors. Most areas are divided among several systems, as shown in the second table entitled Centralized System Coverage Areas. All internal systems are unified in the MU Portal.
In addition, the public may get information about the university and its activities from a number of independent websites. These are unified at muni.cz.
