ARTS User Created Videos
This service is provided by the Faculty of Arts, MU.
The Faculty of Arts offers several tools for creating simple tutorial, instructional and other videos. The advantage of these tools is the connection with university identities and with e-courses in Elf. There are many ways to record a teaching session at the Faculty of Arts MU. You can find an overview of the tools on the Online Teaching page (available in Czech only), where you can also learn about other methods of recording.
Capturing a recording using a webcam
You can record videos using your own webcam easily directly in the faculty’s Medial media library. After logging in (using your UČO + primary password), just press Upload and in the first step of the wizard select “Record webcam”. In subsequent steps, you can add additional information to the recording. After processing, the video will be stored in your personal category in Medial.
Medial is available to all students and employees of the Faculty of Arts. Contact us for enabling the service for other university departments.
Recording lectures
Classrooms with automated recording system provide the teachers with the opportunity of recording their lectures or other events. For detailed information, see Automated Recordings from Classrooms.
