Dear colleagues,

We want to present our work for the past year, 2023. The main goals of 2023 included the following points:

• Launched portal.muni.cz
• Central administration of computers - established cooperation with CIT Department of Anthropology, Department of Geography, Department of Geological Sciences and Department of Plasma Physics and Technology
• Completion of the NPO SC A2 project - Development in distance learning, online learning and blended learning - e-learning 3D printing
• Completion of NPO SC A2 - Development in distance learning, online learning and blended learning - e-learning video editing
• 1st year of launched of myQ solution in the Dean's Office - integration of the Faculty of Sports Studies and the Faculty of Medicine
• Information security policy - integration into the directive issued in January 2023
• ISP training in cooperation with CSIRT MUNI
• Purchase of 2x 3D printers for IC2 in order to increase comfort in teaching
• Transition to the new central RT JIRA as of February 1, 2023
• Installation of an information TV at the Department of Anthropology above the entrance to the BP1 classroom
• Installation of information TV in the Central Library
• Assistance in the revitalization of the BP1 lecture room
• Assistance with the revitalisation of the AV technology of classroom J4
• Refurbishment of computer room IC1 in Building 12
• Migration of PCs and laptops to the UCN domain
• Purchase of virtual reality goggles for teaching Multimedia in educations (C7660)
• Organization of training in the university-wide UMBRACO editing system for staff of the Dean's Office and selected institutes
• Participation in the Global Staff Mobility Program in Michigan USA
• Providing and technical support to AV technicians during online meetings and public events
• Technical support for audio recording and editing in the recording studio for the new audio guides in the Botanic Garden
• Technical support for mapping the map of plants and trees in the Kotlářská area into the MUNI Kompas system
• Reworking of the graphical overview of publications according to the web of science
• Creation of new printed study catalogues of MU Faculty of Science
• Improving the quality of online video transmission from the birdhouse in the Botanical Garden
