Dear colleagues,

We would like to present our work for the past year 2025. The main objectives of OIKT for 2025 included the following points:

• Participation in the MjUNI youth educational event – 3D Adventure
• Introduction of central administration at the Institute of Geological Sciences – several PCs are already actively using it
• Innovation of the subject Digital Competence and Tools 1, 2, 3 – change of teacher and curriculum
• Updating and documenting AV technology in the dean's office meeting rooms
• Participation in the OP JAK PREGRAD AI education project
• Technical assistance with the integration of a thermal printer in the Mendel greenhouse
• Migration of virtual servers from VMWARE to the new Proxmox platform
• Transfer of CISCO switches to the university-wide Netbox application
• Cooperation on the implementation of the MaR project for the Kotlářská campus
• Expansion of WiFi signal coverage in building 09
• Assistance in preparing the Faculty of Science Development Day
• Replacement of the CISCO backbone router with a newer and more secure C9500 model
• Managing the transition of new team member Martin Horáček and departing employee Dominik Rada
• Announcing a tender for multifunction printers
• Active assistance in preparing AV equipment for various events throughout the year
• Purchasing Ashampoo PDF PRO to replace the no longer supported Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017
• Integration of 3D printers into PrusaLink for easier printing in the IC2 classroom
• Successful replacement of damaged hardware in building 12 following an insurance claim
• Technical assistance in the selection of the dean
• Assignment of private segments and network restructuring
• Connection of a charging station to the data network for a company electric car
• Preparation of schedule testing in UNITIME and data transfer
• Establishment of the Scimík chatbot – questions about study regulations at the Faculty of Science in cooperation with UVT and the study department
• Provision of AI licenses for selected workplaces at the Faculty of Science
  
• As of December 12, 2025, we have processed 693 requests through the JIRA request system
