Masaryk University's cyber security team warns of a recurring malware campaign exploiting a fictitious sender identity and the name of Masaryk University.
The MS Teams Desktop App in a New Look
New features, a nicer look or smoother and faster operation. These are some of the benefits that come with the switch to the new version of the Microsoft Teams desktop app, which is happening right now.
As some of you may have noticed, the Microsoft Teams desktop app has switched to a new version, which brings with it a few new features. These include:
- Faster and smoother running (the new version requires up to half the memory)
- A redesign to match the themes of the new Windows 11 versions
- Support for logging into multiple work or school accounts (MTMA Multi-Tenant Multi-Account)
- Notifications right next to the icon on the taskbar, forwarding chat messages and much more...
A detailed overview of the new features is then provided in an article directly on the Microsoft website. The option to switch to Teams Classic is still retained, but this will only last until mid-May, when only the new versions will be available.
