Newly, students of Masaryk University only need a few clicks to register online at the Moravian Library. They can use the registration form and the university account to start using the library services immediately.
Students of Masaryk University make up more than half of all college students that are registered in the Moravian Library. This year, both organizations signed a memorandum of cooperation in science and digitization and the field of services. Thanks to this, the newly available registration option using EduID (university account) is available not only for students but also for MU employees – as well as free registration for readers up to and including 20 years of age, which applies primarily to first-year students.
During registration, the data will be pre-filled (due to the connection of Moravian Library with Masaryk University), and you only need to pay the registration fee. The registration form is currently launched in pilot mode. Immediately after registration, you can start using the library's online services, including electronic resources or ordering books.
As of 1 August 2024, the ESRI ArcGIS Desktop licence, which was previously available to all MU employees and students, will no longer be available at Masaryk University. As an alternative, we recommend switching to the more modern ArcGIS Pro, which offers a modern user interface, greater stability, more advanced features and better user support.
