Instructions: Manual eduVPN Configuration on macOS

Install the Wireguard application from the Apple App Store.

Open the installed Wireguard app, in the left bottom corner click on the arrow next to the + symbol and choose Add empty tunnel….

Delete the current content of the window and replace it with the text from your configuration file. To get the configuration file, follow the linked instructions.
Name the new tunnel and click on Save.

Allow Wireguard to add a new VPN configuration.

Activate the added tunnel using the Activate button.
The tunnel can deactivated by clicking Deactivate. In the Peer section, you can see information about the connection.
Please only use the VPN connection for as long as necessary.
Having trouble connecting?
If you can't connect, see the list of common problems. Also remember to set up your firewall correctly to allow VPN connections, i.e. UDP port 443 and TCP port 443.
