Testing with Word

  classrooms B2.33, L11, N31

2. After logging in, the MS Word text editor and the web browser will start. You can switch between the two programs using the ALT + TAB keyboard shortcut.

3. If the students have prepared an assignment, they open it using the Open option in the File tab. They will find the assignment in the X folder.

4. At the beginning, students save their word processing document using the Save As option in the File tab. For clarity, we recommend saving the files in the X folder and using the student's name and ID number as the file name. Students should save the document for the first time before they begin writing and then save their work continuously as they write.

5. When submitting the file, students will switch to a web browser, log into Elf, and search for the course and assignment to which they should submit the paper. They then submit a saved file with their text as the solution to the assignment.

6. Students can now close the word processor and use the shortcut CTRL + ALT + DEL to log off the computer.

Testing with ROPOTs

1. Students log in using the following information:

  classrooms B2.33, L11, N31

classrooms G02, G21

2. After logging in, the browser will automatically launch with the IS login page. After logging into IS, students will see a list of answer keys available to them.
3. Students log off the computers using the keyboard shortcut CTRL + ALT + DEL.

WARNING: Students who have two-factor authentication enabled will not be able to log into IS in exam mode. Therefore, warn students in advance to disable two-factor authentication for the duration of the exam.

We recommend to display the procedure and other important information for the students directly in the classroom - display on the screen or write on the board. You can use our PDF manuals:
