Google Drive
Google Drive is cloud storage available as part of Google Workspace (formerly G Suite and Google Apps). Masaryk University has a high-capacity repository at its disposal, the capacity of which is available to our users.
How to activate your account?
In the case of the initial use of the Google Workspace service, activation in the Information System of Masaryk University (IS MU) is required. Activation will take place within a few minutes.
How to Sign in to Google Drive?
You can sign in to your activated account on the Google Drive page using:

Google Drive provides:
- web-based access
- sharing and saving files
- online editing of text documents, spreadsheets, forms and presentations
- saving photos
- searching in documents
- making files available offline
- view the history of editing files
- scanning documents
- sync the disc with your device

For Google Drive there are client applications for the following operating systems:

There are also Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets and Google Slides for mobile platforms that make easy to handle files from your mobile device.
Eligibility and Requirements
The repository is available to all MU IS users after activating Google services in the Information System MU.
