The Progress block makes it easier to navigate the ELF study tasks

No description

If you are using the activity tracking feature in your ELF course, we recommend adding a Progress block to the main page. This block provides a visual representation of which activities learners have completed, which they have not completed on time, and which they have yet to complete. The overview is available to both individual learners and instructors.

How the Progress block works

Course activities are displayed as colored boxes lined up in a row. Each color indicates a different completion status:

  • The activity has been completed,
  • the activity has been completed but not completed (e.g. the required grade has not been achieved),
  • the activity was not completed within the time limit,
  • the activity has yet to be completed.

Teachers have an overview of all learners which similarly shows the status of completion of each activity for each learner.

Why use the Progress block

  • Learners have a clear overview of their progress through the course in one place and can better plan their future work.
  • The tutor can easily see who is completing the assignments continuously and who may need support or reminders.

Instructions on how to add the Progress block to your course can be found in the user documentation (Czech only).
