The deadline for submitting your project to the Scholarship Program for the Use of Technology in Education is approaching.
How to hide and hide activities in ELF?
If students contact you saying they don't see content in a course, the cause may be a hidden activity or the entire course. ELF allows instructors to hide content as needed - for example, if you want to prepare materials in advance or make assignments available at specific times.
1. Check the visibility of the course
- Go to Course Management.
- Verify that the course is marked as visible.
- If it is set to Hide, change it to Show and save your changes.
2. Check individual activities and sections
- Turn on Edit Mode.
- For each activity or section, click Edit.
- If the activity is hidden, select Show.
3. Test the course as a student
- In the upper right corner, switch to View as student.
- Make sure the content is visible.
You can also use hiding content in a targeted way-for example, to prepare new material or restrict access to assignments until students are ready for them. If the issue cannot be resolved, contact ELF Technical Support: elf@phil.muni.cz.
