Medial outage and later launch of ELF 23-24
Dear users,
On August 2, there will be a long-term shutdown of Medial, as previously announced. The reason for this outage is a complete overhaul of the existing Media Library infrastructure. As a result of the outage, for which we are working with an external product vendor, you will not be able to use Medial, including associated services such as playing videos, capturing classroom recordings, or working with this content in ELF. Due to the ongoing changes on the Medial side, we will also need to postpone the availability of the new ELF installation for the 23-24 years. If you need to work on your courses for the new term now, you can use the existing installation https://elf.phil.muni.cz/22-23/. If you need to create a new course, just click on the Create Course tab on the top bar of ELF.
However, if you want to work on an existing course, you can create a copy by clicking Copy Course in the Course Management section, which will preserve the original data.
You can contact User Support at elf@phil.muni.cz, who will help you set up a new course. New courses or copies of existing courses will need to be transferred to the new installation once it is made available.
