Reliable IT services are the basis to ensure the smooth running of the school year. For this reason, the necessary technical maintenance is planned before the beginning of the autumn semester. Some services will be out of operation or temporarily restricted from 18:00 on Friday 14 August until 10:00 on Sunday 16 August.
This is a shutdown of the Oracle database, which provides the operation and support of many associated systems and services. That is the reason why they will be limited or completely out of service during this period.
MUNI Unified Login - the login to the services itself will work safely even at this time, but the function of the possibility of changing the primary password will be limited. If you change your password this weekend, the change will not take effect until the system maintenance is complete.
Print Services for Students – during the shutdown, printing services (print, scan, copying) will be unavailable for all printing devices.
INET Information System – will be out of service and with it associated applications and services, for example SUPO.
Top-Up Machines – will be out of service during the shutdown.
Magion Economic Information System (rumbur.ics.muni.cz) - the system will be unavailable during the shutdown.

As of 1 August 2024, the ESRI ArcGIS Desktop licence, which was previously available to all MU employees and students, will no longer be available at Masaryk University.
