Guidelines: To change the faculty password
To access services provided by the Faculty of Arts servers, you need the faculty password. You can set up your password in the MUNI information system in Change password for the Faculty of Arts systems, or personally in the office of network administrators, in the third floor of building B1.
The requirements for the password are the same in all cases; the password should be entered twice to check for typos. The password must meet the following criteria:
- at least 8 characters long;
- must contain character from at least two categories (upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, special characters);
- should not be too easily guessed - based on a known word or systematic combination of letters.
The password that does not meet the security criteria will be rejected. For methods to choose a password that is safe and easy to remember at the same time, see Change password in IS MU. It is recommended to select your faculty password different from the primary password in IS MU.

Please note: Faculty passwords are not applicable to websites using the Umbraco content management system.
