Right-click the Start icon in main panel and select Network Connections from context menu.

Then right-click the Wi-Fi adapter icon and select Properties.

Click Configure...

In the Adapter Properties menu, click the Specify card, then select Roaming Policy and in the Value drop-down list, select Low or Very Low.
The eduroam network is protected by a firewall, but it is still very important to secure your own computer with a firewall as well.
