Warning: spear-phishing campaign targeting IS MU login credentials
The Cybersecurity Team of Masaryk University warns of an ongoing spear-phishing campaign aimed at stealing login credentials for the Masaryk University Information System.
Based on the last meeting of the Dean's Advisory Board of the Faculty of Science, we would like to inform you about the changes in the management of reservations through IS MUNI at our faculty, which aim to improve the efficiency and organization of the reservation system. The system of reservations through the IS is mandatory for lecture halls, classrooms, and then rooms, which have been defined by the individual departments. It is mainly about unifying the booking systems and simplifying and integrating bookings with teaching.
As of 1 April 2024, the room reservations at SCI MUNI in the Kotlářská campus have been unified (this system has been used for several years in the UKB campus). The new reservation system at SCI MUNI has been unified and set up in IS MUNI. This change brings greater clarity and efficiency to users when booking rooms, whether they are students or staff.
You can book a room through the Room Reservations application. If you don't see the room in the app, you don't have sufficient permission to book it. In this case, you must contact the secretary/secretary of the institute that manages the room.
If you need to find out if a classroom, lecture hall, meeting room, etc. is free, you can use the Timetable application. You can also use the Search for a Free Room to find out who can book a room.
The auditorium on Kotlářská can be reserved by the staff of the institutes on Kotlářská. It is always necessary to fill in the mandatory field "Common comment for all booked hours" in the booking system, where you will indicate the name of the event and the person who will pick up the keys at the concierge desk. The keys to the auditorium will not be handed over without this person!
