We already know that network analysis has quite a wide range of applications - it finds its place wherever we try to describe and analyze relationships between individuals, groups or specific phenomena. What kind of relationships did the medieval nobility have with each other? And can network analysis be used to detect organised crime?
Doc. Mgr. Jana Horáková, Ph.D., works at the Institute of Musicology, Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, where she is the guarantor of the Master's degree programme Theory of Interactive Media and the Ph.D. programme Digital Culture and Creative Industries. In 2019-2022, she led the research team of the Media Art Live Archive project, which explored the potential of using machine learning and deep neural networks in the analysis of audiovisual works.
