Sometimes it can seem that any (even old) device that is functional is suitable for the job. However, this assumption is often wrong.
Activating mobile forwarding after a PBX upgrade
After the announced telephone central office software upgrade, the previous mobile phone redirection that you had already turned off may have been restored. To turn it off again, dial #10# on your landline phone.
