After a minor reconstruction and renewal of equipment, we opened a relaxation room for Masaryk University students in the premises of the University Computer Centre (UCC) at Komenské náměstí 2. Visitors can thus once again use the UCC not only for studying and access to computers in unique non-stop operation, but also as a place for group cooperation and eventual relaxation.
"The renovation of the relaxation room in the University Computer Centre is a great example of how Masaryk University's responsive approach to students' needs can bring concrete changes. A questionnaire survey that we conducted relatively recently provided us with valuable feedback from our students. Thanks to their answers, we have adjusted the conditions and environment of UCC, which is not only a place for studying and working on computers, but also for collaboration and relaxation," summarizes Martin Mazánek, head of the IT Service Desk and the University Computer Centre.
