Instruction: Connecting the MU network storage over SMB (Samba) and SFTP
The central repository is available only from the MU network. Access from the external network is possible using the MU VPN.
Use the following information to mount the drive:
URL: \\ha-bay.ics.muni.cz\homes or \\ha-bay.ics.muni.cz\share
Username: UCN\UČO
Password: secondary password
When connecting to \\ha-bay.ics.muni.cz\homes, the user sees his home
directory's content. When connecting to \\ha-bay.ics.muni.cz\share, the user sees a folder structure that
depends on his membership in the sharing groups. By default, only groups are defined
by the user's workplaces and the 000000-My Documents folder containing his home directory.
It is possible to use the WinSCP program for the Windows operating system for access via SFTP.
