Tablet loans for teachers and students
Do you teach at FF MU and want to enrich your lessons with mobile technology? We will be happy to lend you tablets with apps that are suitable for this purpose. If you want, we can show you how to use the tablets or we can train a student assistant to help you use the devices.
Tablets are also available for loan directly to students at the MU Faculty of Arts. Would a tablet be useful for your studies? Contact us.

Applications
On tablets you have a set of frequently used applications (MS Teams, Kahoot!, Socrative, Prezi, etc.)
You can also install any other apps you want on all devices. You'll need your own Apple ID to install (we'll be happy to help you sign in or create an account when you borrow one).
Connecting to Eduroam
We recommend connecting your borrowed iPad to the Eduroam WiFi network using your own user profile. The procedure can be found directly on the device or on the MUNI IT website:
How to rent equipment
Note: We primarily lend equipment to MU FF students and employees, who can use our loan application (button on the right). For external students, please contact us individually at elf@phil.muni.cz
How to rent an iPad
Go to our booking system using the button on the right.
- Log into the system with your university Microsoft account as učo@muni.cz
- Enable the necessary application permissions
- Click on the "I want to borrow an iPad" button
- Select one of the available devices and fill in the necessary details.
- Attention. You can only select a convenient time in the "Earliest possible pick-up time" window. For capacity reasons, the device rental date is fixed to the earliest possible date and cannot be changed.
- Click on the "Confirm booking" button.
- If you are a student, wait for an email with the loan agreement to be electronically signed in IS before collecting the equipment.
On the specified date and time of pick-up, come to the FF MU e-Learning Office.
How to return borrowed iPad
- Go to our booking system using the button on the right.
- Log in to the system with your university Microsoft account as učo@muni.cz
- Click on the "I want to return my iPad" button
- Fill in the necessary details.
- Attention! You can only select a convenient time in the "Earliest possible return date" window. For capacity reasons, the return date is fixed to the earliest possible date and cannot be changed.
- Click on the "Confirm return date" button
- On the specified date and time of return, please come to the MU Faculty of Arts e-Learning Office.
