Outdated, dysfunctional or redundant equipment should be discarded and disposed of ecologically. We will assess the state of the device that you are considering to propose for decommissioning and recommend the next steps.

Decommissioning of Devices

• The device is proposed for decommissioning by an employee, who register it in his property records.
• It is recommended to have device assessed by CIKT FSS before it is proposed for decommissioning.
• The actual processes associated with the decommissioning of technology and registered assets then proceed completely electronically through the application in the disposal of assets in INET.

Eligibility and Requirements

The head of the department, assistant or the person responsible for the subject according to the property records can apply for the assessment of the technique. The disposal of assets is carried out according to the Directive of Masaryk University No. 12/2015 Registration, Transfer and Disposal of Assets (as effective from 10 May 2018).
