Microsoft Outlook

Instructions: How to Report an Undetected Phishing Message

If you suspect that an email you've received is a phishing message (for example, one that asks you to enter your password, card number or other sensitive information), report it directly in Outlook. It's important to report suspicious messages too, not just obviously malicious ones. The sooner we know about them, the better the Cyber Security Team can investigate and possibly block them.

Conversely, don't report common messages that you just want to delete – for example, internal communications, unwanted newsletters, or emails that were delivered by mistake. Such messages only need to be deleted in MS Outlook.

1
Report the message you suspect with the Report button.

2
Select the first option Report phishing. This will report the message as a phishing attack, send a sample to Microsoft 365 and move it to the Junk folder.
