Christmas Is Coming... even to computer rooms. Have a look when the individual computer rooms and UCC are closed during the Christmas holidays and on the contrary – when you can get there.
At the end of the credits assignment week, all computer rooms are closed for Christmas and they will not open until the week after the New Year. Have a look at opening hours for an individual computer room.
The situation is different for the University Computer Centre, which will close on Christmas Eve 24.12. at 6 am, but opens again on Friday 27.12. from 8 am. After the hustle and bustle of Christmas, you will be able to access PC in UCC again.
But that's not all. The UCC will also close for three days at the turn of the year, starting at 31.12. from 6 am to 2.1.2020 until 8 am when it is opened again. And from this time, we continue nonstop as we are used to.

Starting in the second half of 2025, Masaryk University will restrict the automatic forwarding of employee emails to private and external email accounts. The goal of this measure is to enhance the protection of personal and sensitive data.
As of 1 August 2024, the ESRI ArcGIS Desktop licence, which was previously available to all MU employees and students, will no longer be available at Masaryk University. As an alternative, we recommend switching to the more modern ArcGIS Pro, which offers a modern user interface, greater stability, more advanced features and better user support.
