In November 2020, the National Library of the Czech Republic and the Moravian Library made their digital collections available. Over time, other libraries were added, so that currently over 215,000 online monographs and periodicals are available for university students, teachers and researchers. Access to them is used by 103 registered institutions, mainly universities and scientific institutes.

However, in early February 2021, this remote access to digital titles was to end. Fortunately, the Ministry of Culture has concluded a new agreement with the Association of Booksellers and Publishers, and the access is now extended until the end of June 2021.

At MUNI, students and teachers can alos use the e-loans, a service with a unique solution for viewing scanned study literature from the libraries of Masaryk University on a computer screen without the possibility of downloading and saving it.
