Information Systems
The MU portal in a clear form combines information not only from university information systems tailored to the needs of the user. The key university-wide systems are the economic-administrative intranet INET, and the study information system IS MU.
Electronic Office
The O365 cloud services package is available to all students and employees at the university. It provides tools suitable for team communication and collaboration, time management, document collaboration. Cloud storage is also available. Some services are available only from the university network - for work from home, it is then necessary to use a VPN.
Communication
Muni Yammer (MY) is an internal communication network of Masaryk University designed to share and transfer information among MU employees. University mail at O365, mobile and landline telephony, video conferencing, and webinar solutions are also available to employees.
IT Support of Employees
Several specialized workplaces take care of the proper operation of IT equipment and services at the university. Local IT administrators are available to solve problems at the faculty, and a university-wide IT ServiceDesk is available 24/7. At the same time, we can sometimes help to solve problems remotely.
