ARTS AV Recording in the Recording Studio
This service is provided by the Faculty of Arts MUNI.


The Faculty of Arts MUNI has a recording studio, which can be used by its staff and students to make audio and video recordings for the purposes of education and research.

Location and equipment of the studio

The studio is located in the first floor of building L at Veveří 26/28.

The equipment of the recording studio offers a wide variety of services for making professional audiovisual recordings. In particular, it is suitable for recording educational videos, lectures, discussions or introductory videos to the subjects, as well as for acquiring audio recordings or podcasts. You can also use the studio space for webinars or streaming. References to related services can be found at the bottom of this page.

The video studio staff - director, cameramen and editors - can help you make the recording. An engineer is also available during the entire work in the studio.

Conditions for providing the services

The service is available primarily to the staff and students of the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University. If students are interested in using the studio, they should demonstrate the connection between their project and education or teaching or research at the faculty and also ensure approval from a relevant academic worker.

GDPR-related requirements should be addressed by the person who orders the service.

The video studio can refuse providing the services for capacity reasons. In the event that you cannot make the recording for reasons on your side, please inform the video studio as soon as possible.

How to request the service

Please, submit the request to record in the studio at least two weeks in advance. The form specifies the details to be included in the description so that we can accept the request. After submitting your request, please, wait for the confirmation e-mail from the video studio staff. They will confirm that the recording can be made and ask for more information, if necessary.

After consulting the necessary details and for a better idea of the possibilities of the studio, it is useful to arrange a visit in the studio at least two weeks before the scheduled recording. You can also arrange a visit using the request form.
