Magion: Information System for Economics and Administration
Magion serves specialized staff in the Rector's Office and MU divisions (human resources, financial operations, asset administration), a total of approximately 900 users. The system is not intended for broad use by university employees and students.
EIS Magion Subsystems
The subsystem for financial operations (including asset administration) and the HR-wage subsystem encompass the following areas:

There is a web-based supra-structure built over EIS and PaMS subsystems as part of INET that provides all university employees with access to selected data and processes.
Magion at Other Universities
The Magion system is operated at seven universities in the CR and one in Slovakia. Masaryk University, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, University of West Bohemia, University of Hradec Králové, University of Ostrava, Silesian University, and Academy of Fine Arts, Prague are joined in the MagNet collaboration network. Collaboration within MagNet is coordinated by MU and offers information support through INET, e.g.: functionality catalogue and pricelist, and MagHelpdesk.
