LAW Připojení z domova (VPN)

When using VPN (Virtual Private Network), university staff and students might connect to the university network from home, from abroad, or from another university. When connected to VPN, your computer will behave in the exact way as it does when connected directly in the university network.

Description of the Service

Faculty staff and students can access electronic information resources outside the Faculty premises. All information (including a list of resources) can be found in the description of the Electronic Information Resources service.

Faculty employees can remotely access their stored in Documents and on the Desktop of their computer. Access is only possible from the employee and faculty VPN network (muni-zam, muni-zam-split a muni-law).

Access to these resources is done via VPN service that needs to be installed on your computer.

Installation

OpenVPN is automatically installed on faculty laptops and can be found in the Start menu.

For other devices, you must complete the installation in a few steps.

  2. Install the VPN configuration file (Windows, Linux) for the Faculty of Law.
  3. Connect to the VPN by selecting the muni-law tunnel and selecting Connect.

User support for this service is provided by the IT Centre at Faculty of Law (CIT PrF). The VPN service is operated by the Institute of Computer Science.
