ARTS Security at Exams

A secure exam mode is available for electronic tests using computers in the Faculty of Arts study rooms. Students have to log in under a special account and work in a limited environment that minimises the possibility of cheating.

What exam accounts are available at the Faculty of Arts?

Account for standard testing in ELF (PHIL\zkouska)

The account is suitable for regular tests in ELF.

After you log in, only the secure internet browser will be running in fullscreen mode. The connection to the internet will be limited to the e-learning courses in ELF.

Account for standard testing outside ELF (PHIL\zkouska1)

The account is suitable for tests in other systems than ELF (e.g., MUNI IS).

After you log in, only the secure internet browser will be running in fullscreen mode. The home page will be set to ELF, however, connection to the internet will not be limited (you can navigate outside ELF, e.g., using a link located in one of the courses).

Account for testing with Word (PHIL\zkouskaw2)

The account is suitable for writing essays, which can be submitted as a task in ELF afterwards. There is an online storage available where you can upload the assignment for students and where copies of student’s papers will be transferred.

After you log in, the secure internet browser and MS Word processor will be running. The connection to the internet will be limited to the e-learning courses in ELF.

In which classrooms are the exam accounts available?

The secure exam mode can be used in PC study rooms 2.33 B, G02, G21, L11, and N31.
