ARTS Storing and Sharing AV Records
This service is provided by the Faculty of Arts, MU.
The Medial media library serves as a central platform for storing and management of video recordings at the Faculty of Arts. All employees and students of the Faculty of Arts have an account set up in Medial; to log in, use your UČO and secondary password. Audiovisual content can be shared with others either directly in Medial, or outside Medial using links and embed codes.
Access outside of the Faculty of Arts
Anyone can use Medial for guest access (i.e., without logging in). In this mode, you can only view the content that the authors have provided as entirely public. To view other content as well as to upload, manage and share videos, you need to log in.
Full access to Medial for students and employees of other faculties and departments can be set up based on arrangement with the system administrators.
Interconnecting with other systems
It is possible to add content to Medial by uploading files from your PC or creating a new record using the webcam. The possibilities can be further expanded by interconnecting with other systems used at the Faculty of Arts. Currently, recordings from multimedia classrooms and desktop recordings captured using TS Relay are saved in Medial automatically.
Basic functions of Medial can also be used in e-learning courses in ELF (to place videos from Medial in the course content and to upload new videos to Medial).
