Please note that computers still running Windows 10 will be centrally shut down at the beginning of January. Currently, only computers that did not meet the requirements for upgrading to Windows 11 should still be using this system. If you have such a computer, please back up your data as soon as possible, as it will no longer be possible to use the computer after January 5.

We are switching to the new Redmine request system
The transition to the new system will have a minimal impact on regular users – you will mainly notice the change in the new format of emails that will be delivered to your inbox when you send a request to CIT (the change in format also applies to emails sent to you by our staff in response to your request). Nevertheless, if you notice any problems with these emails or if you find them confusing, please let us know.

What to do if the microphone does not work in the Teams desktop application?
If your microphone does not work when using MS Teams in the FF MU classroom, please use the web version of MS Teams (in Google Chrome). The microphone works in this version, even when it cannot be used in the desktop version.
The web version is also available via the link https://o365.muni.cz/.

This year's conference showed how technology can be used meaningfully to support teaching. Visitors were once again able to hear the opinions of students, this time on the topic of AI in education. The program also included a section on new features in the Moodle system and a section dedicated to sharing best practices.

Merry Christmas from CIT FF MU!
We wish you a pleasant holiday season and good luck in the new year. Finally, we have included a small sample of how far AI image generation has come. On the left is a photo created using Stable Diffusion in 2023, next to this year's version generated by ChatGPT. The assignment was very similar – to transform the uploaded photo of FF MU into a Christmas style, adding a Christmas tree and snow.
