Since the summer we have been working on equipping the lecture halls with technology for hybrid teaching. This has added 12 additional classrooms that can be used comfortably for this type of teaching. Nevertheless, if you encounter a problem with the technology in these (and of course other) classrooms, please report it to us using the form. Please see the article on the website for details of what's new.

The several times announced transfer of e‑mail aliases is approaching its final stage. Therefore, we ask users who have not yet managed to convert their email alias to M365 to do so as soon as possible. One of the reasons for the conversion is the possibility of shutting down the faculty server in the future. In the event of a shutdown, all aliases that have not been converted to M365 will then cease to function. All the details on how to make the transfer can be found in the detailed description on the website.

If you are using a university license of Hotjar to analyze your site visits, please note that the university is migrating to Clarity across the board. The reason for this is to reduce costs and also because Clarity (from Microsoft's suite of tools) offers all the features you are used to in the basic version of Hotjar more conveniently. If you are interested in using Clarity, please contact our colleagues at the ICS MU using the attached form.

The origins of the faculty mail server go back to 1992, when we started to operate e-mail services at the faculty. Back then, the servers were equipped with older technology and their performance was not very impressive compared to today, but it was sufficient for that time. In 2005, the equipment was upgraded and the improved server, which some of you know as Roseret, is still in use today. We also used to run the online Webmail interface on the server. However, there is a need to move forward and offer the best possible service to users - for this reason we are working on converting all email addresses and aliases to the M365 environment so that the faculty server can be shut down.
