The Admissions Process at ELF – Modern and Secure

No description

The Faculty of Arts’ computer labs provide the infrastructure for administering subject-specific tests as part of the admissions process through the faculty’s Moodle installation (ELF) and using a secure browser. This combination of tools allows for the secure administration of electronic admissions tests in a controlled environment.

Why Use ELF for the Admissions Process
If you are already familiar with and actively use testing in ELF, the advantage for you will be creating an online test in a familiar environment. An electronic test also ensures easier administration; for example, it automatically corrects and grades the test for you. However, caution is needed. The test does not automatically grade long-form responses (essays), which the instructor must evaluate manually.

ELF allows entrance exams to be taken on school computers using a secure exam mode, which ensures control over students’ computers and thus helps prevent cheating attempts while taking the test

If you like this option and would like applicants to your program to take entrance exams via ELF, we would be happy if you visited our website, where you will find more information on when to contact us and what information we will need from you.
