Import activities - Copy your best activities and save time

You know that feeling of a job well done, when you've really won with an activity? Are you lucky enough to see its use in another course? By importing an activity in ELF, you can easily transfer it to another course - with all the settings, but without the user data. This means you can use it again and again without having to set it up in a complicated way.

What is Activity Import Good for?

• Saves time: you don't have to re-set complex parameters for activities you've already done.
• Ensures consistency: Allows you to keep the same teaching style and materials across courses.
• Makes sharing easier: you can import activities not only from your own courses, but also from those you share with colleagues, for example. This makes collaboration easier and saves time for the whole team.
• Suitable for recurring courses: when you import activities, only the settings created by the instructor are transferred, not the students' data. This ensures that you can easily reuse the activities in regular courses, for example if you want to use the same activities in both the fall and spring semesters, without the need for complicated setup.

How to do it?

Simply log into the course from which you want to transfer the activity, click on "Manage" in the navigation bar and select "Import". Then simply select the activities you want to transfer to another course (for example, your course or a colleague's course) and confirm everything. The complete activities will appear in the destination course, ready to use.
