A small feature that will please many. In the MS Teams chat, the opportunity to reply to a specific message has finally appeared! In addition, the developers from Microsoft have prepared other news for us - what are they like?
The elementary function is a part of various messengers, and at the same time, it can effectively clear the online conversation. Now, also in the desktop MS Teams chat, you can finally find the possibility to reply directly to a specific message (previously, this function was available only in the mobile version).
When inserting a document into chat, you can now choose how to share the document with the other party. Click the down arrow and select from the options listed (see picture).
A small reminder - if you upload a document from your computer, it will automatically be saved to your OneDrive in the Microsoft Teams/Microsoft Teams Chat Files folder.
When sharing your presentation, you can now use the Laser Pointer, Pen, Highlighter, or Eraser functions via the application. Warning - other participants in the meeting see the usage of these features only if they are connected using the installed Teams application. It will not be displayed via the web interface or Android or iOS mobile devices.
Whiteboard, a digital flipchart for drawing ideas, planning projects, and taking notes, has undergone a significant change. The application can be proud not only of a new look (see picture) but also of more than 40 templates, new tools for coloring, the possibility to insert images and shapes, change the background, and other features - try it for yourself!
TIP
You can now add a whiteboard to your team as a permanent card in the team channel so that you always have it at hand.
When using Breakout rooms, a new window will appear when assigning participants to individual groups, in which you can select more students and assign them to the rooms using the checkboxes next to the student names. This feature not only simplifies the whole process but also significantly speeds it up.
